Schuman Cheese announces the latest launch from flagship brand, Cello, in the form of portable, single-serve pairings. This latest addition to the Cello portfolio provides consumers with a personalized portion of Cello’s award-winning Fontal and Copper Kettle cheeses in combination with dried fruit and roasted nuts to enjoy on the go or in your living room. With concerns around food safety at a high, the single-serve enclosed packs will further serve as an added convenience for cheese-lovers everywhere. In addition to these snack innovations, Schuman Cheese will also be showcasing an array of artisanal cheese offerings from import brands such as Dodoni, El Pastor, and Zanetti in 2021.
LOW-SUGAR REFRIGERATED GREEK YOGURT BARS
Whether you’re thinking of cutting down on sugar or trying the keto lifestyle, Clio’s Less Sugar Greek yogurt bars are the perfect guilt-free snacks that will help you stick with your 2021 goals. New flavors include Peach, and Mixed Berry, priced at $22 for a 10 pack. Each bar contains 100 calories, 1g sugar and 8g protein, and are currently available for purchase direct-to-consumer on Clio’s website, and at Walmart, with plans to expand into Whole Foods and select grocery stores this year. PLANT-BASED FRIES AND RINGS
Green Giant has added to its popular Green Giant Veggie Swap-Ins line, with new Veggie Fries and Veggie Rings. New Veggie Fries combine the crispy texture of traditional potato fries with the flavorful taste of real vegetables. Available in Zucchini Garlic & Parmesan, Broccoli & Cheese, and Cauliflower Ranch with Bacon varieties, Veggie Fries are great as a side dish, or on their own as a snack. The counterpart in the launch, Veggie Rings, is a terrific replacement for traditional, fried onion rings. The crunchy, cauliflower-filled Veggie Rings will be available in Cauliflower French Onion and Cauliflower Three Cheese with Bacon varieties.

Mann's is one of the largest suppliers of packaged vegetables, BROCCOLINI baby broccoli and sugar snap peas in North America, recently acquired by Del Monte Fresh Produce, is excited to announce a new line of Veggie Sides, available now at select retailers. Veggie Sides are perfectly seasoned fresh vegetables that are easy to prepare in the microwave and ready in just three minutes. Flavor variations include broccoli with lemon and herb sauce, cauliflower with parmesan pepper sauce and sweet potatoes with a spicy brown sugar sauce. Veggie Sides can be found at select SaveMart, Kroger, Walmart, Meijer and Lucky stores nationwide.
MARTHA STEWART FROZEN APPETIZERS
Martha Stewart Kitchen (MSK), has launched a retail brand of frozen and prepared food products from Martha Stewart. The initial, limited offering from the line is currently comprised of 24 appetizers, side dishes, and desserts that are being offered at grocery outlets throughout the Northeast and Midwest. Initial offerings include classics like Tomato Tartlets; Uncured Bacon, Onion & Cheese Tart; Pigs in a Blanket; Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese; Martha’s Mother’s Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese; Apple Crisp; Carrot Cake; Double Chocolate Brownie and Peach & Apple Hand Pies. The full line of products will launch nationwide in spring 2021.
SQUEEZABLE SWEET POTATO PIE
Once Upon a Farm debuts their newest organic, cold-pressed, fruit and veggie blend, Farmer Jen's Sweet Potato Pie, available to purchase on the Once Upon a Farm website. Inspired by Once Upon a Farm Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer Jennifer Garner's family recipe and her century-old family farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Farmer Jen's Sweet Potato Pie features sweet potatoes with coconut milk, dates and vanilla for a cold-pressed, pie-in-a-pouch snack. In addition, for every Farmer Jen's Sweet Potato Pie pouch purchased, $0.25 will be donated to Save the Children (up to $50,000) – a non-profit organization helping kids grow up healthy, educated and safe across rural America.
SNACK-SIZE CHICKEN BREASTS AND SKEWERS
Pro2Go, a producer of protein-packed snack solutions, has launched its high-protein Convenience Store product line. The new Pro2Go protein line marries traditional whole breast chicken skewers with on-the-go convenience. The skewers single-serve package touts 21g of protein in a 4 oz. serving and comes in Sweet Sriracha Style, Chipotle Style and Rotisserie Style. The skewers come in a microwaveable container and a detachable sauce tray. The grilled chicken breast packs serve 15g of protein per 2.46 oz. package and comes in Spicy BBQ, Lightly Seasoned, and Buffalo-Style. SRP is $3.99 for the skewers and $2.99 for the grilled chicken breasts.
FROZEN VENEZUELAN AREPAS
TOAST-IT is a brand of ready-to-eat arepas (pronounced AH-RE-PAHS). Thicker than a tortilla, arepas are made from pre-cooked cornmeal flour called Masarepa. TOAST-IT comes in original and chia flaxseed options that are a healthy alternative to crackers, bagels, and bread for any snack or meal of the day. A traditional arepa takes a significant time to make. With TOAST-IT, simply take it out of the freezer and toast for five minutes and you’re ready to go. ON-THE-GO PLANT-BASED CHEESE
Vegan-certified Vevan plant-based cheese is now available in a portable snack pack, called Snax. Vevan Snax comes in two flavors, packaged in a 16-count display-ready case. Individual Snax units (1.48 oz. each) are expected to retail between $1.50 and $2.50, and come in two flavors: Vevan Lemon Poppyseed Mozza Snax, which contains creamy bite-size cubes of Vevan Mozza infused with a hint of lemon and poppyseeds, paired with sweet dried blueberries and roasted cashews. Vevan P’Jack Snax features bite-size cubes of Vevan P’Jack paired with tart dried cranberries and smoky almonds. Vevan Foods is a division of Schuman Cheese.
